Don’t like coriander? It could be your genes

For some people, the taste of coriander is wonderful – sweet, spicy, fresh and aromatic. For others, it’s just like a mouthful of soap or dirt. But why the difference? It’s at least partly down to a single change in a single letter of the code, near a handful of olfactory genes.
