On June 28th, Canada opened the Canadian Pavilion at BIO2011 in Washington, DC.

Canada has had a long running presence at the annual biotech get together and once again was the 2nd largest country presence on the exhibit floor.

Apart from the business partnering and announcements coming from the Canadian contingent, one of the hi-lites (for Canadian and International participants) is always the mini Tim Hortons inside the Canadian Cafe area. It was close to the business meeting area and it is a common site to see biotech executives or politicians talking over a Tim's cup of coffee.
